This Project Began With My Son
My name is Dinara Cherniyazova. I am the mother of a 14-year-old boy who lived with a diagnosis of "sensorimotor alalia" for ten years.
The path we walked together changed me forever.
This project was born precisely from that experience — not from theory, but from life.
From 2016 to 2022, my family and I independently ran a private remedial center in Almaty. We worked with children with severe speech and neurodevelopmental disorders — and every day we saw that the system was failing.
Not because people don't want to help.
But because there is no model.
I am a practicing lawyer with 27 years of experience. My consulting company and public foundation are part of a holding structure of six companies. At the same time, I am studying for a master's degree at Almaty Management University. The topic of my thesis is "Inclusive Schools as Subjects of Social Entrepreneurship in the Republic of Kazakhstan."
This is not a random choice of topic. It is the answer to a question that has haunted me for years: why does our country still not have a working model of a private inclusive school?
By the end of 2026, based on my research, I plan to submit proposals for amending the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan. And by 2028 — together with partners — to launch the country's first pilot inclusive school based on the principles of social entrepreneurship.
Not charity. Not a one-off initiative. A systemic model that can be replicated in every region of Kazakhstan.
I walked this path as a mother. Now I am building what we were missing — for all the families who will follow.
